The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolution

June 16 @ 7:00 pm

In celebration of the anniversary of the Stonewall Riot, The Tower will be hosting a dramatic reading of The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell. This hidden gem of out of print Queer fictions offers digestible wisdom, reflections and hopeful thoughts for all the queers, faggots, fairies and revolutionaries who find themselves in between revolutions. Written in 1977 and published in a small run by the now defunct Calamus Books, the insights and illustrations both speak to the time they are written and yet, have a certain timelessness.
We will be hosting a cosy evening, and encourage people to dress elegantly as we share readings from this text. This event will be free but bring along a snack to share and your friends, lovers or the newest match on whichever dating site you prefer.
